COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS

BODY CONSTRUCTION:

Floor:

  • 80,000 psi Hi-strength primed and painted trailer I-beams on 16 inch centers
  • I-beams bolted to Mobile Conversions, Inc. custom POWDERCOATED aluminum extruded side lower body rails with 5/16" torq button head plated steel bolts with self-locking nuts covered with a vinyl insert.
  • 8” steel 3/16 THICK continuous primed and painted channel welded to underside of 4” steel I-Beams.The steel channel shall have reinforcing gussets welded into place on 4’ centers.
  • Sub floor shall be continuous one-piece 1/2” gelcoated FRP, BOTH SIDES with sealed edges to prevent mold and moisture intrusion; installed with ¼” plated steel flathead floor screws on 16” centers.

COMPARTMENTS:

  • All storage compartments shall be 1/8” aluminum
  • All compartment doors shall be 1/8” aluminum using an aluminum continuous hinge and sealed shelter-lite covers over hinges riveted to compartment. Doors shall have recessed bulb compression seals all around edges for Mobile Conversions, Inc. unique no leak sealing feature.
  • Southco thumb pull with adjustable special twist-lock security key shall be installed on each door. All storage door keys keyed alike.

SKIRTING:

All skirting shall be 1/8” aluminum with 3/16” white chip/salt resistant white gel coated fiberglass wheel wells and shall be riveted in place using 3/16” aluminum rivets on 6” centers. All interfaces to be sealed with white non-yellowing Manus sealant.

EXTERIOR ROOF / INTERIOR CEILING and EXTERIOR SIDEWALLS / INTERIOR WALLS:

  • Exterior surface shall be white fiberglass gel-coat .014-.018 thick.
  • Vacuum bonded to ¼” thickness exterior continuous plywood.
  • Vacuum bonded to a 2” insulated foam core
  • Vacuum bonded to 1/4” interior continuous plywood sheet.
  • Interior wall surface is.014-.018 gel-coat
  • Commercial vinyl wall paper for the interior walls from Mobile Conversions, Inc. selection. The total thickness of wall shall equal 2.65 inches minimum.
  • Additional insulated 1” ceiling no flake ceiling panels shall be installed into white grid dropped ceiling.

NOTES:

  • High strength aluminum 2” square tube with .090” wall thickness minimum perimeter frame on 26” centers shall be vacuum bonded into all wall structures and door frame openings creating the strongest wall structure in the industry.
  • All corner junctions shall have a .125 minimum wall thickness Mobile Conversions, Inc. custom primed and painted aluminum corner and custom aluminum upper body rail.
  • R-factor (Insulation factor) shall equal 14 for ceiling and side walls, R-factor shall equal R-14 for floor
  • 3” radius aluminum extruded corner cap riveted and sealed on all 4 corners with Manus sealant.
  • All mill finish aluminum shall be epoxy primed and painted (2) coats commercial urethane white.

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • BUMPER: ICC H.D. 5” Channel full width
  • All painting shall be done in a specially designed, negative pressure, temperature-controlled, enclosed paint booth. The entire body shall be thoroughly cleaned, sanded, primed with urethane-based primer as required, and painted with two (2) coats of commercial, high grade polyurethane paint
  • Body undercoated with a heavy-duty water sealant and sound-deadening material for protection against rust and stone damage
  • WINDOWS: Per drawing shall be darkened safety glass with insect screens and Venetian blinds. Sealed to properly protect from weather and dust.
  • Floodlight above entrance/exit door.
  • LED exterior light system as required by DOT (reverse, turn signals, stop, running, emergency)

SYSTEMS:

ELECTRICAL:

  • 12 Volt DC and 220 Volt/60Hz Alternating Current system
  • 100 amp, single phase 220VAC/60 Hz Distribution panel and circuit breakers, number and size dictated by National Electric Code (N.E.C.)
  • New 22.5kw Diesel generator w/100 AMP/220v single phase/60 Hz circuit breaker, on/off switch, LED diagnosis board, mounted on slides
  • Generator remote start panel with oil pressure, water temp, frequency, voltage, and amp meter
  • Electrical manual transfer switch from shore power to generator
  • 220v/60 Hz, SO wire 45’ single phase cord per NEC
  • Power panel and breakers with (4) wire/SO cable with weather proof plug, GFI circuit breakers as required. All wiring per NEC. Mating shore power plug included.

  • (1) New 42,000 BTU rear mount central air conditioner for environmental control. 10,000 watt built-in heat strip.

COMPUTER / COMMUNICATIONS:

  • Pre-wire for telephone as required. Jack location to be determined at design review.
  • Pre-wire for CAT5 computer ports as required per design review
  • Telecommunication equipment by others.

INTERIOR DECOR:

  • Interior walls shall be covered with commercial easy clean vinyl wall coverings
  • Floor covering: Finish floor shall be skid resistant and of fire retardant commercial vinyl floor covering.
  • Overhead base and wall cabinets shall be customer choice of wood construction with Corian or equivalent one piece formed countertops, easy clean work surfaces. Cabinetry to include positive latches to secure cabinet doors during transit.
  • Electrical outlets, switches, and cover color: White
  • Interior doors and trim shall be painted (2) coats semi-gloss latex.

PAINT:

  • Mill finished exterior aluminum extrusions shall be epoxy primed and painted two coats of high solids commercial urethane paint.
  • Interior metal surfaces are primed and painted two coats of semi-gloss latex enamel.

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • Stair System: Powered platform stair system
  • Entry/Exit Door: 32” wide commercial insulated door with aluminum frame, tempered glass and commercial lever lock. Threshold with no leak / no bind door seal mounted in custom frame
  • Back-up alarm operable in reverse only
  • Total underbody is rust-proofed undercoating
  • Dropped ceiling mount fluorescent light fixtures included as required
  • One scene light included above door
  • All windows shall have day/night blinds installed
